Reading Assignment:
·      If you did not have  today's reading assignment complete, you may finish this week and ask me to recheck next week at the break.
·      Read Act 2.  Read all the notes on the left page before you read the play on the right.  Use your yellow highlighter for flow of thought.  Find at least one blue PER SCENE.  At the bottom of each page, write three character + action combinations.

Week 13

It was wonderful to see you all back in class this week!  Today we launched a full review of the writing tools we’ve learned so far this year.  Be sure and take these first couple of weeks of review time to finish any incomplete work from last semester.

Reading Assignment:
·      Complete a 10 point survey of your edition of The Tempest
·      Read Act 1.  Read all the notes on the left page before you read the play on the right.  Use your yellow highlighter for flow of thought.  Find at least one blue PER SCENE.  At the bottom of each page, write three character + action combinations.

Writing:
·      Correct any incomplete work
·      Write a one page report on Shakespeare focusing on the area you drew in class: Carter & James– Personal life, Eva & Caleb – Work, Emma & Lauren –  The Globe Theatre, John David & Davis – Time and Place.  You may use Wikkipedia, but it cannot be your only resource.  If you use Wikki please find at least one other source for information.  Do not cut and paste information from any source.   Note the sources you used on the back of your report.
·      Compare a skittle to a nerd.  List three similarities between them for each of the three categories we learned: what ARE they both?  What do they both HAVE, and what do they both DO?
